I’m a stay at home Mom to two crazy boys – James and Andrew. I met the love of my life, Jeremy, in 1999 via a now extinct dating website and we got hitched in 2002. The youngest of five children, I grew up in a “bedroom community” outside Hartford, CT and led a pretty average middle-class life. I went on to major in Brass Performance (my instrument was trombone) at Boston University and ended up staying in the area after graduation. Due some personal issues, one of them being very low self-esteem, I didn’t stick with it long after graduation, and eventually ended up in accounting for a construction and real estate firm for 11 years. At that point Andrew was born, and we decided I would stay home instead of working full time just to pay for day care. I’m now the PTO Treasurer and volunteer weekly in the school’s Media Center.
P.S. Just in case it isn’t obvious, my favorite color is purple.
